She thinks she's ugly.
She's wrong
She thinks she's fat.
She's looking in the wrong mirror
She cries herself to sleep with no sholder in arms reach
I wish I could be there everytime I hear her gasping for a breath on the other line
To give her the courage she deeply doesnt have , but clearly deserves.
To tell her that she's a part of my life that I dont want to loose
When she's getting yelled at, they're yelling at me
When they're crushing her faith. They're crushing mine too
When you call her fat. That means I might as well be
When you hurt her. You're hurting me just the same
We say nothing at all but know exactly what the others thoughts are
Simoltaneously we embrace it.
Craddling eachother in a web of arms.
All she needs is someone to wipe the tears away
All she needs is someone to help her pass through a time in need
All she needs is a best friend
All she needs is me
And all I need is her.
she's like a sister.

by the way, i really like this poem because it speaks to me, because i like to be the support for my good friends, but i dont always get to be. i hardly ever am actually... partly because nothing ever happens around here. mostly because im the quiet kid, so my friends usually dont think im a person to come to if they need help
